Why should we use Kapiti Pest Services for our pest management needs?

Kapiti Pest Services are trained and qualified to manage all your pest problems. Because we are local we understand your needs and can work with you to manage your specific pest problem. We are also Approved Handlers — this is a mandatory requirement for Urban Pest Management technicians.

What pests do you manage?

Kapiti Pest Services manages all any pest that bugs you, including flies, spiders, cockroaches, wasps and bees, ants, borer, rodents — just to name a few!

How long do I have to be out of my house during a pest treatment?

It depends on the treatment you are having done. For a fly and spider treatment you need to be out of the house for at least two hours.

What do I have to do to prepare my house for a treatment?

If you are having an interior treatment for flies and spiders we recommend you:

· put away or cover all food and clean dishes

· put away towels, toothbrushes and toilet paper

· cover or remove fish/reptile tanks and turn off any air supply

· cover any French polished or oil finished furniture with newspaper

· put away or cover up pet food and water bowls

· make sure that your animals are outside.

Is it safe?

Kapiti Pest Services only uses approved insecticides and pesticides and applies them according to manufacturer and urban pest management specifications. We hold a current Approved Handler Licence — this is your guarantee that we are professionally qualified and trained to use these products.
